Truckin' Thursday
Day 27
Road Biking
Christina met me at my house at 6-freakin'early:15. It was rough getting out of bed this morning since Josh had a rough night. He went to lay down and wait for me to come read him a story and fell asleep. Then, at 1 am, he woke up and INSISTED on a story. Luckily, Wade was still awake (doing what? I don't know) so he read him a story. Then he was back up at 2:30, crying about something. Finally, he settled down.
Anyways, 6:15 came fast.
When I met Christina outside, my watch wouldn't turn on. I was bummed because I thought I had fried it somehow. But I fixed it when I got home, so all is well for tomorrow's run. (well, you know, as good as can be when you're contemplating a 10 mile run in the morning).
So we rode our bikes over to Lake Point. It was easy going and we just chatted the whole way. We went around the roundabout and headed back. Then ran about .75 of a mile. We both had noodle legs and I wished I would've had my watch to see how fast we were really going, because it sure felt slow. My legs never did ease up and now I'm kind of nervous about that transition.
Oh and the bra situation. Seems that my "assets" have changed so much that the sports bras that fit before Aunika are now digging into my skin and leaving marks. Very painful marks. I know it's not because I got any bigger. I think they're just sagging more or something. I found some new bras, but I found out this morning that they offer ZERO support. Wade thinks I should just go braless, but he's a man, so his opinion on the matter doesn't count. I have a really nice sports bra from the marathon training days, but it was $25, and I don't want to spend that kind of money on underwear. That's ludicrous. So I guess I'm back to the drawing board. So much information, isn't it?
