Heavenly View and Kryptonite
This week was beautiful. (I plan on posting a picture as soon as Jer or I take the time to download the pictures.) We drove to Joes Valley Sunday after church. Monday morning Jer and I ran. It was our "date." We ran 5 miles. Jeremy likes to make fun of me. (I'm praying a miracle happens and I beat him.) Maybe Sandra or Christina can trip him, that way it wont be me. The funny part is that he didn't work out the rest of the week. I was on my own. Oh except for the swim on Tues. I also biked 3 miles. I have many weaknesses, biking is a sore spot. (My kryptonite for sure) I fear my biggest defeat will be in the biking. I STINK! 3 miles and I was going to die. (It didn't help that I was wearing tight levi pants) Tuesday came and I swam in Joes Valley. I don't think this helped much in conditioning me. I felt a little motion sick from the wind. Jer kayaked next to me. I only swam for 10 minutes and felt exhausted! Jer swam on the way back. It didn't help that I didn't have swim goggles. Jer had a snorkeling mask. I hate swimming with one. It's weird to breathe with. I didn't realize until then how much I breathe through my nose while swimming. Wednesday I ran 5 miles by myself. Thursday I biked 8 miles with my Dad and then ran 3 miles afterwards. The 4th mile was extremely hard! I was in about 12 gear. (I was feeling good about my workout until I read that you biked 25 MILES!!!! Thanks a lot!!!) Friday I biked for half an hour and then ran 6 miles. (All by myself! With no music! It is pretty though.) I did freak myself out though and thought what if someone pulled over with a gun.... so I ended up running on the road instead of going down a dirt path. Saturday I didn't want to work out but road my bike seven miles. You want to know how fast I road? It took me 50 minutes. I almost run faster than I'm biking!!!! The most I've biked is 8 and I feel like I'm going to die. How am I going to make it?! I'm really nervous and stressed about finding the time to work out enough that I don't pass out and that I finish! AAAAAHHHH!
