Note: For this race, I'm giving us each three goal times to complete; a BEST time for those races that everything is going perfect and you feel great, a TRAINING time, which is the time we trained for, and a SLOW time, to account for anything that goes wrong. Of course, there is no humilation in coming in even slower than that time. Finishing is the biggest goal.

Notes
Every half marathon record has been broken on this course. It's a gentle downhill course that is suppose to be gorgeous. Check out this link: http://srcevents.com/hobblecreek/phototour.php It shows a picture of each mile with a little bit of description. It looks like the first seven miles are downhill and then there's a little uphill at mile 7 and then a long uphill at 10:30. My strategy is to run a comfortable pace the first 7 miles and not worry about how under time I am as long as I'm feeling good. Then I have some time banked for those uphill sections.
My goals are to (a) Run the entire thing and (b) Come in under 2:15. I know we can do this. We've been training all summer and we're fitter than we were just two months ago.
I'm way excited. Can't wait!! Then we can talk about our next adventure.
