Wheeeee

Day 10
Biking

Today, we went mountain biking instead of road biking because Christina feels bad that her bike isn't here yet. Or, at least, that's what I'm insinuating. In any case, it was a lot of fun and a lot less stressful than trying to keep up with a certain pace or having to kick old people out of swimming lanes.

We headed up to Lake Point and had a good time, though we did have to walk a few hills that we weren't in the right gears for. It was a good workout.

It's about 2.5 miles from Christina's house to my house, so now we know for future reference.

Nothing too exciting happened. It was pretty warm and I should've just left my jacket at home, but other than that, pretty ho hum. My favorite part about biking is that when I'm tired I just have to stop pedaling, yet I'm still going somewhere--unlike running or swimming.

Good luck on your eight miler tomorrow. Wish I was going to be here for it. I'm going to attempt to do it while out camping, but it may get cut short or I'll have to do it when I get home on Saturday. We'll see how it all plays out.

I'll update the blog Saturday night.

I don't know why I can't figure out how to post now. Sometimes this whole blogging thing is confusing. I posted on my family blog when I thought I was posting on here. (that was yesterday) I wrote Better Something than Nothing. Yesterday was a crazy day with swim lessons, Hunter's first pack meeting, mowing the lawn, etc... I just couldn't find the time to go and swim. Unless you count the mom and tot class. Anyways I decided to run on my treadmill. I only did 2 miles. Today is Thursday. I woke up feeling my worst. I also feel very worn out and have no energy. My sinus' are horrible, I feel terrible. I just can't seem to kick the cold. So after talking to Wade (Sandra wasn't home) he told me I should get better, than work out. I just needed someone to tell me that. So I'm taking this weekend off and hoping by MOnday that I will be back to myself. That I can kick whatever I have and be healthy. This is a dent in my training, but atleast it's at the beginning and hopefully I can pull through quick.
